The business situation

The requirement was to build a tool to collate consistent data across each market and form the basic stepping-stone for a global ETMS system.

The solution

As per the requirements, IQSS devised a Windows based solution which utilized Microsoft.NET tools and MS SQL Server 2000 and MSDE for the local environment.

This tool allows the users to keep track of all the accounts and see all the details in the form of reports. This Tool facilitates the user to work offline or online. Once the user is online, the offline data is synchronized to the Server and also receives the updates from the Server.

Benefits

Account Business Planning Tool helped the sales force users to automate their entire sales process. The data is stored locally as well as to a central repository/database. The updates from the server are received locally by the Synchronization process.

The synchronization process also facilitates the higher level users to keep a track of their subordinates. There are two levels of users, TM (Territory Manager) and FLM (First Line Manager). Each FLM manages a group of TMs whose consolidated data is available to the FLM every time they login to the ABP application. The ABP tool comes with features such as Account Profiling, Customer and Business Opportunities Map, Revenue Analysis, Account &Territory Business Plan, etc. This tool has helped the client in better managing customers, accounts in addition to maintaining sales data across all markets. The tool has been developed to support different regions and languages across Europe and provides extensive customization on account of data recorded in different markets.
