A global consortium that represents the interests of mobile operators worldwide, uniting nearly 800 operators with more than 300 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem including handset and device makers, software companies, equipment providers and internet companies.
Customer offers a portfolio of mobile-based secure universal authentication, authorisation and identity solutions including the APIs to identify the service provider and allows the end user to authorise any request from service provider directly from their mobile phone. They required a Java REST API that performs the defined functionalities.
A REST API was developed on top of the existing OAuth 2.0 protocol, which allows service providers to authenticate their end user based on the authentication performed by an authorisation server. The API successfully determines the service operator there by authorizing the request and providing information for the end user to fetch user information based on level of assurance authorized by the customer.
